Throwback at the action of the students participating in the ClimAction project – Youth, Rivers, Communities from the Donat-Robichaud school located in Cap-Pelé with the collaboration of the regional project coordinator: Julie from Vision H2O!
New garbage cans were installed and painted in bright colors by the students to encourage their use in the courtyard of Donat-Robichaud School, a place frequented by many citizens. This action was presented to the community through G3E’s social networks and the local newspaper.
Following the Friel Brook study, the participating students found that Friel Brook was in good health, but that there was a lot of waste on the site of the sampling station.
This issue was also raised by citizens during the student survey. That’s why they asked themselves, how can we have less waste in our local environment?
